Jemima blinked, her body still and tense. "Xottie." She licked her lips as she thought over what she wanted to say. Her focus admittedly off. "Has this...ever happened to you?" She froze at the sound of more voices, and she closed her eyes suddenly wishing that she was anyone and anywhere else. Knowing her luck she had barely hurt herself and this was just being blown out of proportion due to her...wimpy-ness. Please....go away.
Jenny had hurried along behind Tumblebrutus. Praying that Jemima was okay, just stunned. She didn't forget manners, once they arrived and she patted Tumblebrutus' shoulder, her voice low enough for his ears alone. "Thank you hun. Jemima has a true friend in you." She then rose her voice in order for Exotica and Jemima to hear her as well. "I apologize for the intrusion, my dear." She spoke to Exotica as she walked into the den two steps and knelt down beside Jemima's other side. "Jemima, open your eyes and look up at me." She paused for a beat,"That's it, honey." She observed Jemima's eyes closely. "This may hurt sweetie, but I need to turn your head and check out where you hit it." Her first thought was to check to make sure the skin hadn't broke. Though she asked the chocolate queen,"Would you mind helping me?"
Jemima was still staring at the healer as Jenny talked to her. Aside from direct commands, most of what Jennyanydots said went in one ear and out the other. Her tail fluffed to the side and thunked on the ground near Exotica's body. "Whe..Where's Tumble?" Jemima cringed when she had heard the bit of panic that had arisen in her voice.
((I am sorry about the wait.))

the dark calico tom's heart clenched as he took in the scene before him when he entered the den. he gave Tumble a thankful rub as he passed by him on his way to his young sisters side and said, "you have done well Tumblebrutus." Coricopat settled in beside them and gently took her head to help Jennyanydots. "I am here dear Sister."

Exotica looked down at Jemima, her paw reached out as if to brush back hair from her face, but she hesitated. She put her hand back down on the floor and pressed her lips together. "No, not to me. But Have witnessed the humans go through this," she explained, "and have come out fine." Her left ear flicked and she looked up to see Tumblebrutus push her curtain away for Jenyanydots to enter, coming to Jemima's right side to assit.
The chocolate Queen shook her head when Jennyanydots apologized. "I asked him to find you," she mumbled soft and quick. Then nodded when she was asked to help, and was about to answer Jemima when Coricopat breezed in. She hissed softly under her breath and glared at the Tom. Things were beginning to go out of her control, and this was her den! Jemima mistook hers for her own den, but forgave her. Tumblebrutus only got so far as to her door, and had the respect to remain there unless given permission; and he remained at her door out of respect again. And with Jennyanydots, she and Jemima had needed her, so she was not upset. But Coricopat......he was not needed. He had just burst into her den. He did not have permission. He did not sense this his sister was in trouble and should have been here long before Jemima hit her head. "You do not have permission..." she sithed softly, attempting to keep herself under control.

Tumblebrutus couldn't help shivering slightly as Exotica hissed in annoyance at Coricopat for entering her den uninvited. He was relieved he had come no further than the door, and hoped he could slip away unnoticed once he stayed long enough to see that Jemima would be fine. Surely she didn't want anything more to do with him after all the embarrassment his stupid clumsy words and actions had caused her. But then he heard her asking about him, and he didn't know whether to be embarrassed that he was still somewhat on her mind, or worried that she'd suffered some kind of concussion or memory loss from the fall. After all, why would she want him to even be there anymore? Still, since she'd asked, he should say something. He was afraid to irritate Exotica any further by moving away from the door, so called softly, "I'm over here, Jemima. Don't worry, Jenny will take care of you," he added in what he hoped was an encouraging voice.

Jemima was comforted and almost immediately calm upon seeing her older brother kneeling down and touching her face. Tears she had been holding back fell down and she smiled brightly up at him. The black calico knew Tantomile and Coricopat were her older siblings, but when she got too terribly upset, she often referred to them as her parents. Roles they often played when she was growing up. "Daddy."
She reached out for Coricopat, her paw shaking. At the sound of Exotica's hiss, Jemima grew more upset. She ached, and the hiss immediately put her on the defensive and she couldn't stop herself from feeling offended. She hissed in response to Exotica,"Then I don't have permission!" She was incredibly upset now, and still clung to Coricopat. It was a soft purr and a paw caressing her cheek that had calmed Jemima down, and her unfocused eyes looked up at Jennyanydots.
Jenny had frowned slightly at Exotica's reaction, but had moved over Jemima and further into the den. She sat down above Jemima's head, to be able to inspect it better and to keep Jemima from feeling too crowded. When she saw how freaked out Jemima got, afraid really that Exotica was going to kick Coricopat out, she couldn't help but to put a paw on Jemima's cheek and stroke it."Shhh...Jemmie darlin. Shhh." Once she was satisfied that Jemima had calmed down, she turned her eyes onto Exotica.
"Coricopat is the tom who raised dear Jemima, and is her older brother, if anyone deserves or has the right to be in here, beside Jemima; is him. I have already asked you to forgive our intrusion, and as soon as I look over Jemima, we will be out of your den. Now please, I do not want anything further upsetting Jemima." Her voice spoke calmly, sweetly, yet firmly with the authority she had earned over the years as the Jellicle's Head healer. Her eyes were still looking to Exotica, but after a few more moments, she turned back to the problem at hand.
Her fingers were feather-light as she inspected the area. "Well, you're not bleeding, this is a good thing, sweetie." She paused and stopped touching Jemima's head when she saw the young queen flinch. "I am concerned that you may have a concussion." She looked beyond, towards Tumblebrutus. "She may need someone to help keep her from falling asleep for a few hours. Do you think you're up to it, Tumble?"

the calico toms ears went back at Exotica's tone but ignored her his attention focused on his sister. "shhh it will be all right" Coricopat crooned as he cradled the young queen gently. "thank you Jennyandots. thank you for your...hospitality Exotica." he said quietly.

Exotica's ears snapped back at Jemima's cry, why would she get upset? He did not come right when she was upset. And then Jennyanydots reprimanded her, gently though, but it still hurt. She...she shouldn't be. Her mind was racing and she felt like she was beginning to hyperventilate. She balled her paws up as she began to tuck in her chin. She felt everything was beginning to unraveil, and she needed to get out of there. She felt like she was going to explode. She struggled to say words until she was able to spit out fine softly, get up and walk out of her den. Heck, right now it certainly did not feel like her den anymore. She continued to walk until she unconsciously stopped and rammed in her claws into some scrap and began raging, crying out and screamed her frustration.

Tumble sighed in relief when he heard Jennyanydots say there was no bleeding. But his eyes nearly bugged out of their sockets when she went on to ask him to take charge of keeping Jemima awake. Was Jenny serious? Of all people, to ask him? Hadn't he done enough damage already? He'd practically caused Jemima's injury! Then he remembered that Jenny didn't know all of that. Would she still ask him if she did know? Well... On the other paw, with all the trouble he'd caused, helping Jemima not to fall asleep was the least he could do. He just hoped his conversation wouldn't be so dull that it would end up putting her to sleep. "I..." he gulped slightly. "I'd be glad to, Jenny, if... That's okay with you, Jemima?" He supposed if Jenny ordered it, Jemima didn't have a whole lot of choice. Someone had to keep an eye on her. But no doubt she'd rather have someone else do it, like Coricopat.
His thoughts were interrupted as Exotica lost her cool and stormed out of the den. He backed against the wall uneasily as she passed, then looked at Jenny helplessly. What should they do? It was true, they had crowded her den. But it couldn't exactly have been helped under the circumstances... But maybe, if Tumble had stayed away and just sent Jenny and Cori, Exotica wouldn't have minded so much. He growled under his breath. Could he do nothing right?
