Jemima had been too upset to stay. She had promised Tumblebrutus that she'd still be there when he got back, and she knew...just knew he'd be upset with himself when he got back to find her not there. And she knew another 'sorry' was going to pass her lips the next time she ran into Tumble. But after tripping over...what had it been? Right Lucifer. And landing in mud in front of Tumble and that other tom; the one who had snapped at her. She was couldn't stand it anymore. She needed the arms of Tantomile, or Coricopat to soothe her. She was so upset, she had completely forgot that she had yet to wipe the mud off of her face. The tears stung her eyes and blurred the landscape. She rushed into the den, that she thought was hers, Tant's and Corie's sobbing. "Tanny! Cor!" She called out through her tears. The black calico ached for the comfort of her older sister and had stumbled to her bed. Her smaller arms were quick as she flung them around the neck of whom she thought was Tantomile, and held her close. "It was awful."

Exotica had woke up from a nap and ate a small meal before looking over her den. She was not an OCD feline, but was a different cat, according to others in the Tribe. She was usually very good at keeping her den clean and tidy, but somehow she had let it go. Exotica had begun picking up pillows when the voice of small little Jemima cried came to her ears, her ears pricking up and her fur bristling over. She was not overly fond of unexpected others, but she could handle it. What she couldn't was surprizes, and with the sudden body glomping her was something she did not want. And a low hiss began in her throat. Her eyes narrowed and slowly looked down at the body attached to her, and getting her wet. Exotica swallowed, not wanting to explode like she wanted to, and spoke slowly, "would you kindly sit yourself down.." Looking down confirmed her knowledge that it was Jemima, and that she was indeed crying, but that she was covered in mud. Mud!? MUD?! "There is mud......"

Jemima had still been too upset to think straight. That and the fact that Exotica and Tantomile's voices were very similar, Jemima had automatically thought it to be the queen who had raised her. She let go regretfully, sniffing and sat down. Problem was, there was nothing behind her and she fell backwards and landed on her butt hard. "Ouchie." Jemima slipped out. "I'm sooo sorry Tanny." Had her older sister woken up on the wrong side of the bed? She was normally more composed, and though they didn't always get along, Tant made it clear to her that she cared and loved her. Jemima wiped her eyes with the back of her paw. That was when she saw the gorgeous dark brown queen in front of her. Her eyes went wide and more tears threatened to spill out of her eyes. "Ex...Ex..Exoticccaa." Jemima stuttered in her nervousness. "I-I-IIII'm so sorry." She staggered to get to her feet, only to crash into something behind her. Eeeeek! She's going to kill me. Though a string of 'sorry's' rushed out of her mouth.

Exotica shut her eyes and clenched her paws into fists, breathing in and out slow and deep in an attempt to cool her anger. If only she could go back.....but she couldn't. Her eyes snapped towards Jemima and slowly unclenched her paws. Yes, she was still upset, Exotica was totally not fond of being dirty, but the terrified state the smaller Jellicle was in made her rethink the shouting she had wanted to do. She let out another low breath, shutting her eyes as she did so before speaking, "Jemima....what are you doing here?" She attempted to keep her voice gentle and normal even though a part of her wanted to sithe at the little Queen. "And please be quick on why you have covered me in mud..." she added, quickly feeling the affects of hardening mud. She turned and went to her little kitchenette to find a cloth and wet to wipe the mud off her.

((Krystalle and x2, mind if I bring Tumble in here? He's looking for Jemima. But I can have him be unsuccessful in his search if you'd prefer, x2 :]))

Jemima was on the verge of spazzing out, but Xottie's voice seemed to soothe things for her. Not by a whole lot, but it was better then nothing. "I'm..." She sat down with a thud, grateful that the mud was only to her shoulders. Leaving most of the rest of her body mud free, and clean. "Running...ffrom a boy." She knew she was too nerve-wracked to completely get rid of her stutters. "I..." She looked down in shame. "I thought...this was mine, Tanny, and Cor's den. I-I-IIII-I never would have barged in here otherwise. Y-yyou gotta believe me, Exotica." Jemima stiffened, and her paw went up to her face to see if Xottie was right and that her top half was still covered in it. She had been too upset to notice, but the brown buxom queen was correct. "I'm terribly...sssorry. I...I..Thought you were Tanny, and I ...didn't think. Just...hugged you. Sorry." She didn't have the heart to explain just how badly she needed the close physical comfort that she usually got from her two siblings.((I don't mind at all. Though they are currently in Xottie's den, not outside it. But it's up to Krystalle. )

Exotica had been wiping down her chest with the damp cloth when she stopped at what Jemima first said. Running from a boy... She turned on the small Queen and stared at her hard with wide eyes. She listened to the small and brief explanation, half-heartedly as her blood had begun to boil. The thought of some Tom doing this to sweet Jemima was more than enough incentive. Granted still upset with Jemima, but she was now more upset at whoever caused the Queen to mistake her den for hers. Once she was finished, Exotica turned her eyes down and churned her thoughts over. After a time, she waked over and wet another cloth before walking over to Jemima, handed it to her and gracefully curled up on one of her discarded pillows. The chocolate Queen waited for her to clean herself off, then looked around and grabbed up a blanket. She offered it to her, leaving it beside Jemima, no matter what would always be uncomfortable giving much affection to others. "No need to be that apologetic...most of them blame should fall on the Tom who made you run away," she said. Again feeling uncomfortable, her eyes shifted away from Jemima and cleared her throat before speaking again, "you are one of the sweetest Jellicles, kind and giving in this Tribe. No one should ever cause you this disgrace."
(I don't believe I have a problem, but Xottie will =^.^= )

The black calico blinked her round innocent eyes at the offered damp cloth, and then up at Exotica before taking it easily and without another thought. She wasn't use to the chocolate queen being all that friendly to her, but chalked it up to Xottie wanting nothing else to get muddy. Jemima began to clean herself off, but wasn't sure where all the mud was, aside from the obvious parts that were now hardening in clumps. "Did ...I..get it all?" She asked in a meek voice, after several more minutes of cleaning her face and shoulders. "Oh...I..bbbring it on myself, really." And she did. It was always her fault, but she couldn't seem to get passed the phase of everything making her nervous and thus klutzy. "Bbbbut...Lucifer...scares me." Being honest by nature, kept her answers and conversations (Once the nerves calmed down) honest as well.

Exotica sniffed a little indignent-like, a Queen should not allow herself to be "klutzy". But then again...some Jellicles pulled off the klutziness and laugh it off. She could remember a time when she could laugh off her own silliness, and trip like it was on purpose. But now....she was not that little Princess turning to a Queen anymore and bottle up all her more loving and caring emotions away. Her eyes perked forward at the name Lucifer and looked down at Jemima. "Did he do anything to you?" she asked, and even out of real concern. Because even though she thought Jemima was really silly for letting herself become embarrassed, she would never abide in a Queen or Princess to be hurt by a Tom. Her tail even began to lash about behind her.
(sorry its short, nothing really good wanted to come out ^^; )

((It's quite alright. I'm having one of those days too when nothing really wants to come out.))
She did admit that sitting down near Exotica was calming her down some. Not as much as a hug would do, but it was helping to ground her and clear her head. So much that she was able to look back at her embarrassing behavior and not feel jittery. She snuggled into the blanket that had been set near her, breathing in the clean scent. She sighed in delight and peered innocently over the top of the blanket at Exotica. "He...He yelled at me." She looked down, ashamed with herself. "Bbbbut I did run into him...its...justified." The last word had been just above a whisper, not even sure anymore if it was justified. "I-I-I apologized, but he...h-h-h-he stormed away, insulted by my presence." She sniffed, sadly.

Exotica raised a brow, why did she have to be so cute. Sadly, a small part of her wanted to be cute again. Yelled? Well, running into someone might justify being yelled at, but Exotica thought only if they did it on proper that that would be needed. She never really liked Lucifer. "Sadly, Lucifer is the way he is, and mostly would yell at most things. But no one should ever be insulted unless the other person has done something to feel that. And even though saying just stay away from him might sound helpful, but it really is not. Because you will see him throughout the Yard no matter what," she said stately. And while this was going on, her eyes would still look over her den and twitch slightly at the mess of blanket and pillows. And fed up, she got up and grabbed up blankets and pillows until her arms were full, and tossed them onto her bed. She continued doing this but left the pillow and blanket near Jemima.

Tumblebrutus left the spot where he had last seen Jemima, and began to make his way through the junkyard in search of her. He resisted the urge to call her name; the last thing either of them needed was yet another embarrassing situation. Besides, if he started shouting, people would think she was missing, and she wasn't. She was just missing from him. With this thought, he halted to consider. Maybe she wanted to be missing from him. Maybe she couldn't stand being around him any longer and had taken the opportunity to flee with the least rudeness possible. Yet he still couldn't stand the thought of her going off and being upset on her own. He wanted to at least make sure she was all right. With this thought, he continued walking - then paused again, by someone's den. He heard voices coming from inside, and one of them was definitely Jemima's. Not knowing what else to do, he tapped slightly on the den and called, "Er, hello?" He couldn't very well just go barging in...he couldn't remember whose den this was, but hoped they wouldn't be too annoyed.

Jemima nodded her head solemnly. Despite the vastness of the junkyard, it wasn't as big as Jemima had once believed. It was nearly impossible to avoid a single cat for longer then a few days in the yard before you eventually ran into them again. The only other thing she could do was to leave every time she found herself in Lucifer's presence, which seemed too rude for her to do. Of course, Lucifer would probably end up storming away from her anyway, but to do it preemptively? It's not how Jemima was, she just couldn't do something so mean. She moved her bottom lip between her teeth, without chewing on it.
"What...What can I do then? Is-" A knock on the den had her jumping slightly. Being too focused on Exotica, what had happened, the scent and feel of the blanket around her, she had not been expecting it. Her eyes went wide when she heard the unmistakable sound of Tumblebrutus' voice. He was a bloodhound, a persistent one. Her eyes looked upward as she got lost in her head, now imaging Tumble with a dog snout. But as it wasn't her den, and now lost in thought, she had no right to let Tumble in or shoo him away.
((Yay. Tumble has arrived. <3))

As she listened, Exotica herself was thinking herself when she twitched slightly at the knock to her entrance. She didn't think she would ever get over that twitch, but she was always a lot nicer to whomever knocked and wait for her to answer. But then froze when she heard a Tom's voice. She glanced at Jemima quickly and then made her way to her door, pushed back the piece of material she used as a barrier, saw Tumblebrutus, and stepped out while crossing her arms. "What is it you would like, Tumblebrutus?" she asked cooly, her face impassive.

Tumblebrutus waited as the queen came out to answer him. Ahh, Exotica - that's whose den this was. He felt slightly nervous - her expression wasn't exactly unfriendly, but it wasn't exactly welcoming either. Had he just interrupted a very important queens' heart-to-heart type thing? Or had Jemima been sighing about how Tumble had walked away and left her, and now he was about to face the Wrath of the Exotica? "Hello, Exotica," he greeted, doing his best to keep his cool. "I apologize if I've disturbed you. I merely came to inquire after Jemima." He glanced at the rat in his paw and laughed slightly. "We were going to share a snack together, but then I could not find her. I just wanted to be sure she's all right." Well, that wasn't too terrible, he supposed; he could have sounded like more of an idiot... He waited Exotica's response, wondering if she'd even let him speak to Jemima or if she'd run him off.
