Macavity single-handedly ruled London for centuries, taking power through terror and letting no misconduct go unpunished. Some said he was the oldest Vampire in existence. Some even said he was the first Vampire, cursed by the Everlasting Cat to an immortal, immoral life. No rumor was ever acknowledged, not by the Hidden Paw. He cloaked himself in shadows and controlled the city from afar. That is, until the Jellicles planted their roots in London.
An ancient Tribe, the Jellicles were formed to hunt down Vampires and wipe them out. A mission from the Everlasting Cat, they liked to say. They would train from birth to be able to hunt and kill the strongest creature known to felinity. Macavity managed to evade them for some time, but their prowess was startling. He wasted no time in building an army of his own, a tribe to intimidate even the mighty Jellicles, in the hopes of scaring them off. Caught between this all are the strays of the city, innocent felines who think Vampires are nothing more than a myth, and who are disappearing every day.
Now, after the Jellicle Ball and a spoiled kidnapping attempt, Macavity is more determined than ever to wipe out the Jellicles, every last one. Will they be ready?
