Now that I have 2 kitties involved, lets get this started! (As I plan to make more in the future hueheuh)
I'm HUGE into character developpment and fun plots, so this is a nifty thing to do!
Bombalurina, The Scarlet Queen: A complete enchantress, Bomba seeks companionship, long term lovers (but not TOO longterm, goodness no), friendship, and to ease some tension amongst her fellow tribemates in any way she can. Bomba doesn't like disarray or sadness in general. Despite her own worries, Bomba's current mindset is very much to put everyone else before herself. Even so, in this time in the junkyard, she seems to be a bit bored. A little fun now and then could definitely be good for her as she strives to help out her stressed friends.
General Wishlist:
- More love interests for Bomba
- Some threads that involve just fun things for her to get her mind off of things.
- I love some comfort, angst, and romance for the scarlet queen.
 - Satisfy her curiousity to meet Macavity.
Demeter-I'd love to develop their friendship and get right into how Demeter's mind is working at this time. I wanna really develop on how the two rely on each other equally and that even if Bomba has never experienced what Deme has, she certainly does her best to understand and offer the emotional and mental support. I think it'd be interesting for Bomba to take Deme out just for a 'girls night' and when Bomba begins to flirt and have a good time, Demeter asks how in the world she could trust anyone and be so careless. This could lead to some nice dialogue and character exploration ^=^ The Rum Tum Tugger- I REALLY wanna see how these two would interact. I personal see them as utterly playful and trying to one-up each other for the spotlight. They strive to see who can get who's attention first and purposely ignore each other. They push each others buttons and do their best to be the one to say 'I won.' I don't particularly see them as lovers--In fact, I see them as such close friends/rivals that Bomba's never really considered Tugger as a partner. She finds him very attractive and he has his good qualities, but that's her friend. I think they'd know each other quite well emotionally speaking. Munkustrap- I can see Bomba being very comfortable, casual, and charming with Munkustrap at all times. She remains very professional and respectful towards her leader, however she does like to spice things up and flirt with him just to get his reaction. She never clarifies whether or not she's flirting just to do it or if she's really attracted to the tabby. Regardless, I think she and Munku, as with Tugger and Deme, know each other quite well. I'd love to see Bomba and Munku's friendship come into play with some thing along the lines of Bomba urging Munku to loosen up 'for her' or things like that. Subtle, gently flirtatious, but genuinely concerned for him. I can also see Bomba joking with Munku about topics he'd like as she's very much invested in her friends and their interests. If it would take his mind off of his stress, then she'd go that extra mile to see him calm down and just chat for a while. Kittens- Bomba has a soft spot for kittens and enjoys conversing with them. ESSMERELDA, THE AMAZON TRASHBAGAs an adrenaline junkie, Essa is currently living life in a haze. Parties every other day, a lot of liqour involved, and generally no concept of cares to give, Essa spends her days sleeping off hangovers. Despite the disruption in the junkyard with Macavity's most recent appearance, the silver queen seems about as content as a cucumber. As she's roused from her drunken slumber, she seems just about ready to actually socialize with her tribemates. However, upon stepping out into the clearing for the first time in a while, she immediately notices the unrest and is agitated. Hopefully, her general hype about life can help get the junkyard back to its original state. Essa wants an adventure and to drag along some unwilling accomplice to help her in her crazy feats to say the least.
General Wishlist:
- Go on an adventure with someone new
- other than that, Essa generally just wants to talk to people and have a good time
- a little party never hurt nobody
 - Essa wants someone who can keep up with her adrenaline and be as willing to do stupid things as she is.
- Always down with flings here and there.
I'd type more for Essa, but I am lazy (:"D), and I'd like to just roleplay her and see how things go before I add on preferences or any ideas I have for her oWO I just figure that Bomba has been a Jellicle longer than Essa, so she's a bit more acclimated to her group of friends. Essa's sort of everywhere. I love good plots and character development, so any ideas are welcome.

Bomba is such a good friend. ^^ I'd love to play with her trying to understand and support Demeter without knowing the details of what happened to her, since Demeter has never outright told anyone (until Gilbert, though - I suppose he knows the most about the details now). Gossip and rumors have pieced together the truth well enough, so nobody's entirely in the dark as far as that's concerned. And Bombalurina definitely knows better than anyone how the effects have stuck with Demeter through the years. And with Demeter getting really paranoid and becoming really withdrawn, I can see the possibility of a lot of tension forming. Especially if Bomba wants to take her out for girls nights! Ooh, and I really want to get a good Electra on the board, Bombalurina would be such a great 'aunt' to her!
I think there can be a lot of fun things happening with Bomba and Munk's dynamic. He really values openness, so it'll definitely irk at him not to know whether she's actually flirting with him or not. XD But I do always like when Munkustrap really does take her very seriously, and I'd like to think that he considers her one of his closest friends. I'm sure they grumble about Tugger a lot with each other! Bomba is one of the few cats Munkustrap feels really 'at ease' around, so he's much more willing to drop his guard around her.

-Bomba: If you want more love interests for her, Alonzo volunteers. XD No matter what I do, when I RP Alonzo he tends to fall for Bomba. Not saying he has to be her one true love, or her anything. Feel free to ignore him, lead him on, break his heart, or whatever you feel like. Anything to cause more drama. *cackles evilly*

@sansa: AHHHH! I WANTED TO MENTION ELECTRA, BUT I WASN'T SURE IF I COULD! YES. I LOVE love the idea of Bomba being like an aunt to her and kit-sitting when Deme needs a little TLC and time to herself. Just yEAS. Bomba would personally really appreciate hearing the full story from Deme, as its something really particular to her. Bomba doesn't get to know people just for the sake of it, she wants to know them fully. :') And with Munkustrap, I literally think you and I just think alike because I had the same ideas! She'd definately complain to Munku about Tugger and just things she knows he can relate to. She really cares for him and knows that his position as protector can be quite demanding. Therefore, she finds it of utmost importance to ensure that she's there if he needs her. Same with Deme and all of her close friends basically. A lot of Bombie's character comes from her desire to feel needed by others, really. Eliaza: Aw, yes, I LOVE Lonzy. I'm not too sure if Bomba would be the type to purposelly break someone's heart, but she also just loves the thrill of the chase. We could definitely plan a thread soon if you wish! |

Been trying to think of things between your characters and mine. (But sadly my mind is mostly mush, so this isn't going to come out as good). Anyway.
For Bombalurina:
-Gilbert; Because I honestly don't know how they'd interact or how well they'd get along. I'm not going to try and make guessing concerning that. However, there could be some potential. Maybe some competition between them, over their mutual friendship with Demeter, or perhaps the two will actually get along because of their mutual friendship with Demeter. And because Bomba is very close to Demeter, I could see Bomba getting involved in some of the threads between Gilbert and Demeter, or at least be affected by them. But plots involving just Gil and Bomba...I'm drawing a bit of a blank at the moment.
-Jennyanydots; I know you have said that Bomba's best friends are Demeter, Munkustrap, and Tugger. But I've always seen Jenny to be in the same age group as them and close friends with them as well. Or at least best friends with Bombalurina and Demeter. And Jenny is quite close with Demeter, and was the one to find her in the junkyard and heal her, etc. If you're okay with that, we could definitely try and iron out the friendship between them. But if not, they could just be mutual friends of Demeter. Perhaps their personalities clash too much to be anything more then civil to each other. Whatever you decide, I'd still like to figure out their exact relationship.
-Keiiji; I actually would like to see how the two interact, but sadly no plots really come to mind. Though ideas might pop into my head if we do thread them together and see how they interact.
-Admetus; Umm, I was thinking either they could be involved in a fling in the future. Where Tugger talks the talk, Admetus is out slutting it up. Or, perhaps they had a one night stand or a fling in the past. Either or, or neither, but I still think they'd have some sort of established relationship. But what do you think?
-Purrgatori; Like with Keiiji, I'd like to see how the two interact. I have some expectations, and thoughts. I truly think if they got over being from opposing tribes, they could have the female equivalent of a bromance. But antagonistic, and a rivalry between them could also be fun to work with too.
For Essa:
Admetus really jumped out at me for her; They seem to like the adrenaline of new things, love their freedom, and adventures. Having a lot in common would not be good for a long relationship, unless it was you know in a friend way. Though Admetus is definitely open for whatever Essa would want him for. *pets the naughty tom*

Gilbert: I totally agree! I think Bomba is definitely the type of gal to be very much involved in her friends personal lives. The second she hears her girl friend has a new tom in her life, she wants all the details and to meet and get personal with the tom as well. I can see her being a bit cautious, curious, and prod around at Gilbert at first. Though, it's all based on Demeter, ultimately. If Bomba sees Deme happy and Gil is a good guy, she'd probably welcome him as a friend and companion to have. Bomba is never exactly 'cold' towards anyone unless given good reason. :3
Jenny: Literally, I've been watching your art for many years and always saw your gorgeous Jenny and am just ECSTATIC that you pitched this idea! Bombie, at least to me, comes off as having many aquaintances and is generally friendly to everyone--even cats she hardly talks to. She considers Demeter like a sister and someone who she relies on and vice versa. Munkustrap is sort of an on and off flirt, as well a sturdy male figure in her life that she knows she can trust. Tugger is like her best guy friend who she'll never understand perfectly, but that doesn't mean she can't slap him around and have a good time with him. Otherwise, I think Bomba really needs a female friend thats not exactly there for emotional support as with Deme, but more or less just a girl friend to hang out with. I just think she and Jenny would be excellent friends--they're those girls that would check eachother before going out on a girls night and compliment how hot they both look--they'd also be fantastic at helping eachother get hookups and dates. Ahhahsjdg, I love this idea :"] I also just love your Jenny so I'm excited!
Keiiji: I'm sure with a few threads, time, and lots of mood music, we can find something to do with these two :3
Admetus: I think Bomba would definitely have had something with Admetus. Perhaps even like a reaccuring affair? Mutual friends with benefits and they don't really speak about it or to eachother in public, but they do know eachother quite well. They just save all talking and personal matters for the bedroom if you will ;"D Or, as you mentioned, Bomba could just really need the energy/excitement from trying her best to cheer Deme up and ultimately goes to Admetus and they start having a fling then?
Purrgatori: I just looked at Tori's app and --wow, yes, I agree. Perhaps Tori is the one cat that Bomba sort of shows her claws for. Her inner bitch sort of comes out and she gets really defensive around Tori, but its almost exciting to meet someone like her-especially if she knows Macavity. As you said, I think once they calm down and get over their differences, I think they'd be quite good friends. I LOVE female bromances, so I'm totally down!

AHH THIS IS JUST--YES. Essa is SO the type to have a friend and almost casually hook up with them. She'd then proceed to continue her life as if nothing happened. She's not a 'suddenly passionate' kind of person. What you see if what you get and she finds nothing odd about two friends hooking up and continuing to be the best of friends after the deed is done. She's a great friend to have and always likes people that can keep her entertained and offer her talents and energy as well. For her, if they suddenly end up sleeping together, its just 'whatev i wanted to get laid who cares', and then she'd wake him up the next morning and tell him she had a crazy idea to walk on the London bridge or something silly. Also, if Admetus ever started to develop romantic feelings however, she's very quick to tell him how it is too, so if he's fine with just being good friends that have a lot of fun together and Essa being a sleazebag, then lets do this! oWo

-Gilbert/Bomba; I'm really excited about this now. Whether their relationship turns good or bad, it's going to be fun. Can't wait. ^-^
-Jenny/Bomba; YESSSSSSSS! Woo. I'm so happy, that is exactly how I've always imagined their relationship. The two hotties going out for a girls night out, and both admiring the other's hotness. Always pictured they'd be the type of friends, that if they were in a club they'd go onto the dancefloor together. Dancing sexily together, getting all the toms in the club bothered, and all the queens jealous. Is it bad that I can see them, either in the past or future having a drunk make-out session? XD
-Keiiji/Bomba; I think it'd be a good opportunity to at least start fleshing out both characters. Even if no big plot revolved around them; which it could. Keiiji does know Macavity and has done a few jobs for him. And I am hoping Sansa will be okay with Munk and Keiiji having at least a working relationship. So, if she's alright with that, then Keiiji and Bomba have at least had a passing acquaintance. He's currently in a thread that you could crash. Or wait for him to exit and we can throw them together soon.
-Addy/Bomba; I actually really like the idea of them being friends with benefits. Admetus is the type for pillow talk anyway, so that would totally work. Would also work, if Bomba needs to see him in the future to..de-stress. But I'm fine with whatever for Admetus.
-Tori/Bomba; Awesome. I love bitch threads. They're so much fun. But I also love female bromances too. I do think it'd be ironic if Tori had a couple of relations like that within the jellicle tribe...eventually. But Tori and Bomba would probably take a while before they connected and moved past their differences. If we want it to seem more natural that is.
Addy/Essa; Oh definitely. Admetus is actually the same way. He treats most of his sexual encounters extremely casually. (Bomba would be a bit of an exception if we go the friends with benefits route) But I really do like the idea of them being close friends, or becoming close friends...who felt the need to have sex randomly. (past or future)

The rest of my characters...
For Essa
Gilbert...sadly, I think Gilbert would be too dull and boring for Essa, unless she was intrigued by his standoffish-ness and felt the need to try and loosen him up.
Rumpleteazer...I do think they could go either way. Either they'll click and be close friends, or they'll hate each other with a passion. Teazer's always seemed like the type of individual with the personality that you either love or hate...without their being a middle ground. But we won't know anything until they get into a thread together and interact.
Jennyanydots...Sadly, I can't think of anything between them. Unless Bomba has to cancel on their plans one night, then Jenny might need another hottie to cruise the town with her. Not sure if that'd be Essa's scene though.
Keiiji...My response is the same as Gilbert's. Though Essa might just be stubborn enough to break through the walls he has himself guarded in. But that's up in the air. I doubt Essa would have much interest in Keiiji otherwise. Unless she needed something done that she wasn't comfortable doing herself. Especially if it pertained to anything illegal.
Fenrir...For some reason I find them barely tolerated each other, but might have some interesting banter. But who knows.
Purrgatori...As long as Essa could handle the truth, they might get along. However, they might start off similarly to Bomba and Purrgatori, just without ever getting over their differences.
For Bombalurina:
Rumpleteazer...Well I can't think of anything at the moment, aside from the established relationship of acquaintances. Maybe a tag along to some of Bomba's "girls nights". But not sure how they really feel about each other at the moment.
Fenrir...Absolutely no friggin' idea. Though I'm always open for throwing them in a thread together, to see how they might react to one another. But ideas or plots for them are lacking at the moment.

lets see...
Gus....the loveable old boy really enjoys any time spent with Bomba, not in the least because she is so darn pleasant to look at, which is all the poor frail thing is really up for now anyway! on his best days she reminds him of what he and his beloved theater once were, on his worst days when the palsy in his paws and the aches are almost intolerable then the nurturing instinct that you mentioned in her profile most likely kicks in and a comforting "cuddle Pile" may well result, particularly where the most he's likely to do is a little slap and tickle!
as for Essa Gus is simply FASCINATED with her accent! so what if she is a little rough around the edges, so are his friends down at Stubby's pub!
Stubinz....my other old coot likewise likes Bomba for similar reasons and while he would be more than willing but he does realize that he is no real competition for the young studs, however the fact that he puts on no pressure, just a compliment here and there might increase his chances for the odd evening here and there. and while the Pub may be a bit on the quiet side for her most nights there are some where things do jump!
Essa would appeal to him because she comes from a different place with new anecdotes, to borrow a line from another character of mine on another site who is also friends with him and Gus there..."I love them like Littermates, I truly do, but you see I know how all of their stories end and they know all of mine."
Grumbuskin...for Bomba he likes her fire and he likes her style, but he also respects what she is looking for.
Essa now... he is not put off by her size in any way, just as he is not by Teazers more petite stature. and where she has been in the yard for a time he has probably offered to teach her some of the local fighting styles.

OH MY GOSH GOOD OKAY!! I love 'Auntie Bomba' dynamics, I love Bomba interacting with kittens a lot and being really good and 'fun aunt' with them. And how do you think Bomba would react knowing that Demeter opened up to Gilbert a lot, while Bomba is still mostly in the dark? Because Deme will definitely feel guilty, poor thing. One day she'll want to sit Bomba down and share her account of what happened with Mac. Also, Deme's going to start being really physically clingy, to compensate for the fact that she and Gilbert can't touch. So be prepared for that. Look at us go! This is gonna be fun. Munkustrap really does need Bombalurina, and he'll happily tell anybody that if they asked, to be honest. And he feels a sort of 'big brother' kind of responsibility with her, making sure she's safe and content, I think. Same with Demeter. They look out for each other so much! |
