Character Fun Facts

I'll work on the question later, but I've been thinking about the songs since last night, and... it's hard! Harder than I thought it would be! Here's what I got, though.

{Demeter} (I have three for her, is anyone surprised?)
Total Eclipse of the Heart - Bonnie Tyler [lyrics]
I'm afraid I don't have much of an explanation for this. It's been my 'Demeter' song for as long as I've loved Cats. The literal meaning of the song is , but for Demeter, it's more about longing for safe, positive connections. Her life is rough, and she needs Jellicles that she trusts to keep her going.

Light - Sleeping At Last [lyrics]
This is her Electra song. Sweet, heartfelt, about wanting to give her daughter the best life she can.

Never Let Me Go - Florence + The Machine [lyrics]
I'll admit, this is a bit of a... fantasy-fulfillment song, I guess, for me. It's the song for when she (hypothetically) gives in and goes back to Macavity, and is his completely. I've always wanted to roleplay it, but it's never really fit into any of my forums.

{Munkustrap}
Fix You - Coldplay [lyrics]
Munkustrap was actually very tough!! This, for Munk, is about how nobody's slate is ever clean, but everybody deserves the comfort of somebody's support and guidance.

{Growltiger}
Drunken Sailor - Irish Rovers [lyrics]
Just kidding! To hell with those Irish bastards. I couldn't really think of anything for Growltiger. Honestly, traditional Scottish songs are the way to go for him. He'll even sing some for you if he's drunk enough. Hell, he'll sing most of 'em sober.

I went a bit overboard with songs, and I apologize. I started off with only one song per character and it slowly began to change. Also...I was getting stuck with the question, so some of my characters answer probably won't make sense. XD

Favorite/Least Favorite thing? *Plus* Theme Song!:

• Gilbert; Gilbert is to humble and self-conscious to tell anyone he likes anything about himself. However, the one thing he does like about himself, is that despite everything he has experienced he has never once broken. His least favorite thing? There's too many things to pick just one. 
      {People are Strange} - The Doors. {Lyrics}
  I think the song/lyrics are pretty self-explanatory. It explains a lot of how Gilbert feels and his life in the junkyard(Before Demeter). And bits of the song, could even be interpreted in relation to his touch telepathy.
      {Stand In the Rain} - Superchick. {Lryics}
  If you replace all of the female pronouns with male pronouns, the song will reflect Gilbert better. This song is more on Gilbert's plight, and how the things he went through affected him. But he never broke and is still strong.
      {Unbreakable} - Fireflight. {Lryrics}
  This song just reminds me of Gilbert's journey to date, in 3 minutes. Being abused and surviving some of the worst life had to offer him, but never breaking. Being stronger for what he went through and slowly learning to trust again, even if it's only one cat (Demeter). Also, the "No one Can Touch Me" lines are to be taken literally. Considering his power.
• Rumpleteazer; What's not to love? REALLY? But if Teazer had to pick just one thing, it'd be her laugh. And why not? It's one of the things she's best known for. Her least favorite thing about herself would have to be inability to be alone. She is a co-dependent queen, and needs someone to always be with her or around her. She sometimes finds herself envious of other cats who can do things on their own.
      {Blink} - Cascada. {Lyrics}
  Explains Teazer quite well, and her zest for life. Particularly her view on life and why she is so determined not to dwell on anything sad, and why she constantly moves forward. That and its a upbeat song that she could dance to.
      {Rumors} - Lindsay Lohan. {Lyrics}
  Most of the song and lyrics really reflect Teazer and her attitude especially. The feeling of the song and some (not all) the lyrics do get Teazer's way of life across. Living her way and just wanting to have fun.
      {Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous} - Good Charlotte. {Lryics}
  I'll just let the song do the talking. But if you need some context before listening to the song, I identify this song when Teazer was growing up and the song is from her point of view.
• Jennyanydots; Jenny has many insecurities, all of which could be considered to be one of the least favorite things about herself. However, her biggest one would be her appearance. Years of being told otherwise and her string of failed boyfriends tend to give her evidence against herself or her appearance. It's not so much about self-esteem or her image, just that she feels she leaves much to be desired. And the fact that she's simply content with herself is starting to feel more like just settling. Jenny's favorite thing about herself is her dedication. Oh, sure, she's been made fun of for it in the past, or been called dull, boring or a bit of a stiff since she preferred to study rather then have fun. But if she hadn't been so dedicated, the Jellicles would not have a Healer. And there's nothing Jenny wanted more, than to become a Healer.
      {According to You} - Orianthi. {Lryics}
  Not perfect, but I did like the feel of the song for Jenny. I also feel like it shows both Jenny's insecurities on top of all the traits that are going for her that she doesn't think she has. (In the form of a love triangle, but we'll ignore that, as currently no toms are into Jenny that way.)
• Jemima; Bit obvious of course, but Jemima's favorite thing about herself, would be her singing voice. It's one of the only things she feels she's good at. However, her least favorite thing, is her stutter. It's a bad habit, and only solidifies just how nervous and shy she is. It's one of the things she wishes she could change about herself, or work on in order to overcome it.
      {Untouched} -The Veronicas. {Lryics}
  A song that repeats some of the words, almost like a stutter, about being loved and wanting some guy to love her? Doesn't sound at all like Jemima, right? Wrong. This song definitely fits Jemima in all the important ways of her personality.
• Keiiji; Keiiji finds most of his traits to be neutral with the rest of him, they're both advantageous to himself and his path in life and also a hindrance. However, one thing that does tend to be more positive then negative, is his observant ways. Simply observing others around him and the environment he finds himself in has saved him on more then one occasion. His least favorite thing? Oh so many things. But the biggest is probably all the things he has done in the past and all the things he knows he'll end up doing in the future. Oh it's a necessity, and he would be dead ten times over if he wasn't who he was, but he more hate's that that's his justification for everything. ..A necessity.
      {Light's Out} - Breaking Benjamin. {Lyrics}
  This song describe's a lot of Keiiji's feelings, and actions towards his "Father" Axel. Including the "Dark" Years, and what Axel molded and created Keiiji into, all the way up to Axel's death by Keiiji's paws.
      {Going Under} - Evanescence. {Lyrics}
  Basically during the time Axel broke Keiiji, when Keiiji was younger.

I particularly liked your song choices for Demeter and Munkustrap, Sansa. (And you already know I love everything about Growltiger. XD)

And Okami, good song choice for Lucifer.

Alright, assuming they see colors the way we do, then here are my answers. <3

• Jennyanydots favorite color would be Silver. It's a subtle and underrated color, but its for these reasons why she loves the color. Not to mention it is pleasing on her eyes. It's not too extravagant or outrageous. And her favorite color in no way is responsible for her being sweet on, or favoring a certain tabby guardian, no sir!
• Gilbert's favorite color? Probably Emerald. A Green so deep. Living on the streets in the downtown of the city, he rarely got to see green grass, fields, trees, or the density of a forest. He doesn't know why he likes the color green, but he wonders if it's simply because for most of his life, it was devoid of green.
• Electra is simple. Her favorite color, would be Blue. She doesn't have any real reason for why she loves blue above all else, but its one of the reasons why she loves getting up early in the morning. So she can look at the bright blue sky. It is also why she dislikes storms and overcast days.
  
  
• Ohh, lets see. Jemima would probably have to say her favorite color was Orange, or a blend of Orange and Pink (giving it a warm texture). She always was more fond of blends rather then specific colors. Or poplar colors. But yeah, the mix of pink and orange reminds her of a pleasant sunset and tends to connect the two together.
• Red is the color Rumpleteazer has a fancy for. Of course she has a penchant for constantly changing her mind. She always seems to like new things. White used to be her favorite color and she still has a fondness for it and wears her pearls proudly, but now...now RED is the be all, end all, best color out there. Give it a few months, maybe a year, before she changes her mind, and Sienna becomes her favorite color.
• Good luck trying to get Keiiji to admit he has a favorite anything. Keiiji has always had other things on his mind then to know anything from an aesthetic view. That doesn't mean he hasn't noticed the colors of the buildings he's gone into, or things he's picked up or worked with, or the colors of those he's killed. But he views all those colors with the view of his past. The only color he feels connect to at all, would be Black. It's not his favorite, but it's the only color he is comfortable around. (If that made any sense. At least it makes sense to him)
