Oracle sighed , this was getting bad. Really bad. Sure she knew the dangers of coming here but she never got caught before Uhura tagged along. If Uhura wasn't here too they wouldn't have been so suspicious of her. And now munkustrap was here? Oracle knew she would have a hard time getting on over on him, especially with her clueless sister here. Now they would probably be arrested, sent back to the warehouse and punished. Oracle knew that this was possible of happening but she didn't mind risking it, her sister on the other hand did not. She didn't deserve any of this. Which meant that Oracle had to do something she would never ever do , all in order to protect Uhura. She had to actually act like a young queen innocent of all she was accused of, I mean what were they even accusing her of, and would probably cry, yes cry. "U-um " she stammered while lowering her ears. She looked around sheepishly and wrapped her tail around her leg, to show vulnerability and nervousness. "I didn't know I would cause so much trouble by coming here, I only wanted to see my big brother. He and my sister are the only family I have and" she choked up a little "why, why can't I just see him. Why am I being held here and stared at like I'm a bad cat, I didn't do anything. I gave you no reason to suspect me and that cat over there, pounce, is calling me a hench after one conversation with him. I mean if you guys don't like visitors you can just let me leave like I've been trying to do. Obviously you are all on edge and don't want more members, but why so tense? You could practically suffocate in this atmosphere" she was actually telling the truth through all of that, she wasn't threatening anyone, was nice to others, even had a relative in the tribe and somehow that made people think she was a hench? She hasn't even been to the warehouse this week, she was visiting her pollicle pack and spent the rest of this week with tucker and his weird human, so it's not like she smelled like a hench or was seen in the warehouse or anything.
Suddenly Oracle blubbered "I'm sorry Uhura but it seems we won't get to hang out today as planned, I am so sorry for getting you into such a mess. I didn't think this would happen. All I wanted was to see tucker, honestly, but this whole mess happened. I would think they were more welcome to new faces but apparently they are harsher than I thought. " she paused to stare at the ground making little sniffles as she squeezed her tail. What the heck was all this mess, having her act so weak to stop from getting her sister in trouble. It was pathetic in a way, noble in a other.
Then something occurred to her, no one was fairly close. They could still leave. So with a meaningful glance at her sister she murmured "let's just go" and continued walking as if all of this had nothing to do with them.

"That was very brave of you, Pounce." Munkustrap gave the kit an important nod. Pouncival always liked to feel useful, and Munkustrap tried to help him in his efforts whenever he could. Still, anger toward the Henches were laced in his words, and he listened to the queen with a stony face. Perhaps she was telling the truth, and was some sort of street cat looking for her family, and this was all just a mistake. But strange cats in the Junkyard just as a Pollicle attacked at their gate was too much of a coincidence.
With a frustrated growl, he rushed forward and held the sniffling queen by her upper arm to keep her from leaving. "Is Tucker your brother?" Munkustrap thought he knew the Jellicle well enough, but it occurred to him suddenly that he did not know anything of his family. He glanced back at Alonzo and shot him a look that clearly said get that other queen away from Pouncival.

Alonzo listened to the blubbering Oracle, skepticism written all over his countenance. Having lived among the henches, he knew how good they were with lying - especially young queens, who could easily use their beauty to distract, or their drama to elicit pity, or both. He was not buying Oracle's story. Seeing Munkustrap go to deal with Oracle, Alonzo caught the nod the silver tabby gave him and went up to Uhura so that he was standing between her and Pounce. "So...we've heard her sob story," he said curtly. "What is yours, Miss...?" Even though fairly convinced these two were henches, he couldn't escape that deeply-ingrained habit of being polite to queens...even if it was icy politeness.
Heart pounding, Uhura had nodded along with everything her sister had said, hoping they'd believe her and the two queens could be on their way. But no such luck. The silver tom started interrogating Oracle, and of course the black-and-white came to do the same by her. No, no, no, she was no good at sob stories...they'd find out right away she was hench, she couldn't hide her hatred of them... Still, she tried her utmost. "I..." she began, then paused as something Oracle had said, and Munkustrap repeated, sank in. Tucker? Their brother? They had a Jellicle brother? No...it couldn't be...that must have been part of the sob story, completely made up. Still, she'd use it too so their stories would be consistent. She cleared her throat and tried again. "We...my sister and I...we're strays. We...would have talked to a leader or somebody, but we didn't know anyone. All we wanted to do was find our brother and speak to him for a little while." There, that was pretty good. Maybe they'd be convinced.
Well, their stories matched. But Alonzo still believed they were henches. Tucker may be their brother, but that was probably the only true bit of their story. He nodded, though, as if accepting her words. "Well, just stay here a bit while Munk talks with your sister. You won't want to leave without her, I'm sure." He stood near Munkustrap waiting for him to finish speaking to Oracle, at the same time keeping an eagle eye on Uhura in case she tried something. But he had to wonder... what were they going to do with the queens? Keep them prisoner? So far they had not attacked... Alonzo shook his head. We'll figure it out. Whatever we need to do to keep everyone safe...
Alyssa was utterly confused. "Say, Pouncy," she said, going over to Pouncival, "why are they treating our new friends like this? I thought everyone was nice here and loved inviting new people into the yard."

Pounce grinned honestly at Munk's praise, so proud of himself. He hardly got any recognition by any of the older Toms so he took any little bit to heart and ate it up as he watched the older ones apprehend the Hench queens. So much so he was a bit annoyed when Alyssa came up to him. He sighed as he looked at the naive Queen. "They aren't our fellow Jellicles, they are Hench Queens..." It was only then did he realize she probably had no idea what he meant, being so new. "Queens who are loyal to Macavity. You have heard of him, right?" He looked at Alyssa a little less annoyed.

Upon being suddenly grabbed Oracle froze in her tracks after almost falling in a utterly ungraceful way, if not for munkus holding her up by the arm she would have totally face planted. Looking back at his face, it was not a very pleasant one, she noticed she wasn't just going to walk out, of course. He probably didn't buy her story either but then she realized something, her story actually checked out if based on name based alone. Tucker was her brother, she came here to see him not as a hench but as his sister. She came here as plain ole Oracle, when in hench territory she went by the name Kelian, therefore she could practically tell him that "Oracle" was not a hench because no one else other than her siblings knew her by that name. Sure it was a strange process but she had to think this way in order to keep her wits about herself. Suddenly she remembered that munkustrap was awaiting a answer, a obvious answer, but a answer. She looked up at him and nodded "yes, Tucker is my older brother. I am his younger sister, Oracle" even though she said her name casually she hoped that maybe it would jog a recognition, she was more than sure that tucker brought her up often. "And the oldest is Uhura" she somehow stayed calm and controlled her features during all of this. She didn't look annoyed or aggressive, not even suspicious. She just looked like a queen who didn't know why she was being held. "If you don't believe me you can ask him yourself "

Another day, Munkustrap might have listened to their story patiently, even taken them to his father if he were in a good mood. But as on edge as he was, after sleeping on a Pollicle attack and still dealing with the aftermath of Macavity's attacks during the Ball... he was not in any sort of mood to open his heart and risk the safety of the Tribe. He wished he'd spent more time talking with Tucker, so that he could believe this queen's story.
"I'll be sure to ask him." He licked his lips and shot a look toward Alonzo, uncertainty hiding in his eyes. If her story was true, he could be terrorizing a young queen for no reason, and giving the Jellicles a bad name to boot. Though he couldn't let strange cats hang out in the Junkyard. And so soon after Macavity's torment, and a Pollicle attack? "But you can't be in here."

Alyssa's eyes widened at Pouncival's words. She'd heard of Macavity, all right; he was one of the first things she'd been warned about since joining the Jellicles. "Ohh, Macavity, that really evil dude, right? Scary! Well, no wonder Hunky and Lonzi are worried then." She thought a moment. "But hey, how can you even tell who's a...hench? They look normal to me."
Uhura breathed an inward sigh of relief, overhearing Munkustrap's words. It sounded like they'd be allowed to leave. She started to head towards her sister, then glanced at Alonzo. "If I may...?" She tried to keep the sarcasm from her voice. Seeing Alonzo nod curtly, she went over and stood by Oracle. "Yes, we gathered no one wanted us here," she said, a little too sharply. "That's why we've been trying to leave."
Alonzo came and joined the group, suspicion aroused even more now. If these two were really just innocent street cats, would Uhura have spoken in that tone? She seemed a little too anxious to leave. He gave Munkustrap a look, wondering if he'd noticed the same thing.

Pounce shifted his weight between his hind paws uncomfortably as he watched the confrontation in front of them. "Well Munkustrap introduces new Jellicles to everyone like he did for you so if you see a cat here you don't know, it's a good bet they don't belong here." he explained as studied the look on Munk's face. "That and you can tell by how the the Guardians are treatin them. These two Queens are no good." These methods are what Pounce had learned since he was kitten, by mistake a few times too.

Oracle let out a big sigh and stared at the floor. She didn't want to look at anyone. Not her sister, who only made things worse. Not the guardians...no one "If we can't be here....can we just leave now, that's all I want to do now. I don't even know why you're so tense...but if it's my fault...our fault....can we leave?" she was just upset about how this turned out, while her sister just was angry. Her voice was vulnerable, too vulnerable for her liking but she knew she was at there mercy and what would happen if they got caught. The thought of someone else, especially her sister getting in trouble because of her.....it was unbearable..and now they would question tucker too "Please...." she let out in a barely auditable mew. "Please don't be mad at tucker, none of this is his fault" she didn't think that it would go down that way ....tucker's life could be ruined because of her. She whimpered thinking about it and then covered her mouth, she would not cry here. "J-just promise you'll keep being nice to tucker....I don't want him getting in trouble because of me.......I -I" she couldn't talk anymore she was all choked up. She just hung her head, blinking away the threatening tears. She would Not cry,not in front of all these cats. "Uhara.......I'm sorry for being a bad little sister....I got us in this mess by coming her....it was stupid......I shouldn't have come here" she lowered herself to sit on the floor even though she was being held up. "I don't want tucker to be Mad at me...please don't tell him I got into trouble......it's worse enough that my sister knows" Even though she talked she wouldn't look at anyone. She was a bad cat, maybe those humans were right...maybe she was unlucky.

Munkustrap ran the words through his mind anxiously, his face stony and stoic. This situation was getting out of hand, and he had no idea how to proceed. Maybe these queens really were visiting their brother, strays or house cats who didn't know who Macavity was at all. And he was frightening them for no reason at all. His grip on the queen's arm shifted and tightened. Or maybe that was exactly what they wanted him to believe, what Macavity wanted him to believe. Besides, why else would they be so anxious to leave rather than find their brother and prove their innocence? He had a decision to make, and quickly... and he had no idea what that decision should be.
The cat's tears shook him and he dropped her arm, more of a reflex than anything. "Tucker will be fine," he said shortly, still frantically searching for a solution. More than anything, he wanted these queens out of the Junkyard. But what had they seen already, and what information would they take back to their boss? Not that he could exactly hold them hostage... He shook his head to clear the thoughts away. Getting them out of the Junkyard as soon as he could. That was the priority. Then talk to Pouncival about what had happened before he and Alonzo had intervened. And somehow send a message to Macavity, tell him that his cats were not welcome on Jellicle territory, not without consequence. "And I'll be escorting you two home."

Some of the tension in Alonzo's shoulders eased just a bit. He felt relieved to hear Munkustrap taking action. And, after all, he reflected, it was probably the best he could do: it would get these two queens out of the 'Yard, and then Munkustrap would be able to see where they were from...though, if they were Henches, they probably wouldn't lead him to their real home. Even still, it could be dangerous. "Would you like to take another cat along as a precaution?" he asked Munkustrap. "I'll come; or if you want me to stay and guard the 'Yard, I'm sure we can get Jerrie or someone else." He didn't like the idea of Munkustrap being alone with these two - not that he couldn't handle himself against them, but suppose they decided to lead him to Macavity's gang - to an ambush? Munkustrap would make a valuable hostage if they could get him.
Uhura's heart pounded. She shot her sister a quick glance. What should they do? They couldn't lead him to Macavity's place, that was for sure; he'd have their necks if they let a Jellicle know his location. Then again, if they could somehow get word to him ahead of time, he could have a crew waiting to jump Munkustrap...but there wasn't time. She chewed her lip nervously, trying to think. Meanwhile, she forced a smile. "That will be wonderful," she told Munkustrap. "There's lots of danger out there. We'll appreciate the protection."
Alyssa nodded as she listened to Pounce. "That makes sense. Well, Hunk seems to be handling the situation just fine. He'll get them out of here and everything will be great, right?" She frowned. "Unless that Macavity guy has an ambush waiting for him. What do you think?"

Pounce cringed at Alyssa's words, he hadn't thought of the possibility of a ambush by Macavity and how these two queens being here could all be trap. All he had been focusing on the praise he had received and that he was helping Munk handle apprehending these two like the older Tom's. "Munkustrap, I could go with you or at least help guard so you can have Alonzo with you." Pounce would never forgive himself if Munk had gotten ambushed while returning these two alone.

Oracle sighed when he let go of her and just hugged herself for a moment. Tucker would be okay,he would be okay. In the mist of her silence a weak, relieved chuckle escaped her "T-thank you" she murmured and let her head lay upon munkustrap's leg for a moment,in a almost affectionate way.
Then hearing them speak of leaving she nodded and wiped her face "look at me...I'm a mess" she said with a weak laugh "now is not time for self pity....we will just keep you if I do that" she forced a small smile before crawling over to uhara and hugging her. In all honesty she was scared for a moment, even terrified...but now everything was okay. She smiled at uhara in a "Don't worry" manner and nuzzled her. She once more recomposed herself and nodded at her sister signing her to just follow her lead.
She stood up and returned near munkustap "I'm ready when you are sir.....but we are strays, we live in the near the allies....I wouldn't want you or anyone to be injured because of us. So if there is a preferred route you would like to take please tell me.... Dangers lurk about and while I'm sure you can hold your own......I rather see to it that you are unharmed in the process of being so kind as to escort me and my sister home" she was pretty sure they would find it odd for a hench to care about their safety and that normally a hench would just leave and not care what happened to the jellies. But she was not a normal hench, and she did care. Plus it built a bit of trust in the midst of tension

"I can manage, but thank you," Munkustrap responded instantly. Escorting two young queens to a home near the alleys didn't necessarily mean danger, but he certainly knew that there were risks. And he did not like the possibility of anybody else getting hurt. He never liked taking back-up when he ventured out of the Yard, not since Fynn. Besides, he didn't plan on walking them all the way home. He just wanted to get them away from the Junkyard and, depending on where they led him, tailing them from afar.
He almost smiled at the concern the young black cat voiced, but stress kept his expression stony. "You can lead the way. I promise I can keep us safe. Alonzo, I'll be back within the hour." He shot Alonzo a look that clearly said look for me if I'm not back within the hour. He gestured for the two strange queens to join him as he made his way to the Gate.
[exit Munkustrap]
((Do you guys want to roleplay Munk walking them out? I don't have anything specific planned, he'll just walk them to the alleys and 'leave', then trail them for about ten minutes. So let me know if either of them will go back to the Warehouse after he leaves.))

Silently, Uhura went along with Munkustrap, keeping close to her sister. She hoped Oracle had some ideas of how to get rid of him, because she could come up with nothing at the moment...
[EXIT UHURA]
Alonzo did not like the idea of Munkustrap going alone one bit. However, he would trust the silver tabby's judgment. But he would be watching every single movement of the sun, and when an exact hour had passed, if Munkustrap was still gone, he would be off like a rocket to go after him... Setting his jaw determinedly, he turned back to Pounce and Alyssa. "I'm going to head out and guard the perimeter and keep an eye out for Munkustrap's return. But first, have either of you seen anything odd going on, besides those two queens?" He asked both of them, but kept his attention mostly on Pouncival. The young tom had shown real initiative and wisdom in this situation, which had impressed Alonzo and made him less inclined to think of Pounce as just a kitten anymore. He clearly paid more attention to things than Alonzo had previously given him credit for. Alyssa, he knew almost nothing of; and she was new, so couldn't be expected to know what was 'odd' and what wasn't.
Alyssa frowned, trying to think of anything strange that she might have noticed. She wanted to think of something so her new 'family' would be happy with her. "Well, I heard something about a dog earlier... But oh, that's right, you were there, so you know about that." She shrugged. "Not much else. Pouncy?"
((Uhura will either return to the warehouse once she thinks Munk is gone, or follow along with Oracle if she thinks up some clever plan for misleading him))
