Oh thank god. These types of questions really get me thinking. Hmm... - Gilbert doesn't admit to having trouble sleeping. Even though he does. He does eventually fall asleep, but it usually takes an hour before his mind shuts off and he falls into dreamland. He is a fitful sleeper, however. Constantly moving into a new position every twenty minutes or so. Most nights he tosses and turns so much, he'll wake up in the morning with his blankets or anything he may have been sleeping with kicked to the ground. Gilbert is also a light sleeper. His paranoia of being touched kicks in at even the smallest sound, instantly waking him up.
- Rumpleteazer will relay how quietly she sleeps and in a feline and feminine position. However, that would be a lie. She tends to sleep on her back, her arms out, legs every which way (though if she is sleeping slightly above the ground, one of her legs will dangle over the side.) She sleeps open-mouthed, with drool pooling down the corner of her mouth, and yes....she snores.
- Jennyanydots sleeps in much the same position as the way she is first seen during her number at the jellicle ball. On her stomach with her arms wrapped neatly under her chin and her tail dangling out of the trunk. And yes, Jennyaydots prefers to perch up on something above the ground while she sleeps. She has no trouble falling asleep, but she knows what herbal remedy to use if she ever couldn't sleep.
- Keiiji doesn't have any specific sleeping positions, nor does he have a favorite. He sleeps in any position that seems comfortable at the time. However, due to his past, he barely sleeps. When he does, he usually dreams of nightmarish times that are really flashbacks. All he knows is that it makes him uncomfortable. He also sleeps with a dagger under his pillow, a small ceremonial knife under the sheets; two weapons that are within his reach. A habit he picked up from his past occupation, and hasn't broken himself from that trend.
- Admetus sleeps like the dead. If you're going to wake him up, be prepared to bring a bucket of ice cold water, a set of strong lungs(for yelling), and arm muscles that don't get sore easily(for when you're going to be shaking him). His favorite position would be spooning another cat. However, if he is sleeping in bed alone, then he usually sleeps on his side, cuddling and spooning his pillow.
- Fenrir sleeps with one eye open. Movement in his peripheral vision will alert him enough to fully wake up. His normal position is usually on his side with his arms out. He doesn't really have trouble sleeping, mainly because he has no memories of his past to keep him laying awake at night.
- Purrgatori only ever sleeps in a curled up ball. Her arms curled under her chin, her legs brought up almost to her chest. (almost in the fetal position, but not quite) With her tail wrapped around her body and covering her entire face. She usually sleeps pretty good with little problems. Though, if you're lucky enough to catch her in her sleep, she does talk in her sleep. She can hold conversations in her sleep, though won't ever remember having the conversation when she awakens.

Gus: as with so many things is not the sleeper he once was. there was a time when he would sleep soundly usually with a queen or two wrapped around or curled next to him. now he rolls and twitches constantly shifting positions. the only times he dosn't is when he is curled with another cat or the occasional sunbeam.
he prefers soft and warm places to sleep elevation is only important in the difficulty in getting there!
Stubinz: the old fellow sleeps and wakes easily, night or noon are the same to him! he typically he will sleep upright tucked into a comfy corner ecept on those increasingly rare occasions when finds a bed partner and then he is an unrepentant spooner!
Grumbuskin: his past troubles his sleep not a whit, HE wasn't the one who betrayed his crews trust! he does sleep lightly and whenever and wherever he can.
he is another who does not sleep well without a weapon in reach.
his favored sleeping position coiled ready to spring.
Manfredd: the big lug sleeps like a rock...literally. usually he would be found
on his stomach everything pulled in under him except for his tail, which would be wrapped around him, so he looks like a big loaf of bread. that or he will be sprawled onhis side looking like he's ready for his pelt to be removed!
Macavity: DOES Macavity sleep? the Henches don't think so...whenever someone comes to his door night or day he's awake, or seems to have been.
on the rare event that he has taken some lucky party to bed he is always the first to wake after and if he dosn't send them away He is the one to be gone.
in truth Mac has mastered the arts of catnapping and sleeping with his eyes half open so that he appears to be awake.
Cassandra: when she is with her Humans the poor pampered Puss sleeps alone. alright it's in a very nice comfy catbed, but she is actively discouraged from sleeping on the furniture, unless it is cuddled with one of her Humans of course.
when she sleeps it is in a lady like curl her tail just so.

I'm trying to get through my writer's block while I catch up on my threads, so here we go! How does your character react when plagued with the common cold?
- Demeter is pretty efficient about things. She takes whatever Jenny gives her and keeps it at bay for as long as she can, though if it's a rough one, she'll hand Electra over to Uncle Munkustrap and take a day of bed rest to get back on her feet.
- Look, unless Arnbjorn is vomiting or bleeding profusely, he's not going to stop doing his duty. Who knows, maybe he could even will himself to stop his nose running.
- Clinton isn't sick. What cold? He's fine. It's not a big deal. He'll keep trying to go about his day-to-day activities until somebody scolds him and sends him to the Infirmary.
- Most cats wouldn't even know that Tantomile was sick. Coricopat would, probably, but she doesn't talk to other cats often enough for any of them to know anything. Besides, she doesn't do much differently anyway. Sit in thoughts in the outskirts of the Junkyard, nab a few slow mice for food every now and then.
- Munkustrap is at Jenny's side at the first sign of a cold. He's a bit of a hypochondriac. He'll still go about his guard rounds and such, of course. He'll just be very nervous about it, and he'll make sure everybody in the Junkyard will know not to get to close to him because he's sick.
- Growltiger is, surprisingly, a big baby when it comes to a cold. Slash his ear off, cut out his eye, he'll spash some liquor over it and keep fighting. The sniffles? Bundled up in bed and whining at anyone who comes near to bring him a good, dark beer and rub his feet until he's feeling better.

Common Cold Reactions:- Gilbert has a blase attitude when he gets sick. After everything he had gone through in his lifetime, what's a little cold. He doesn't change much, and until recently he never had to warn anyone about his sickness because he kept to himself. Still, he takes his medicine. No muss no fuss.
- Rumpleteazer absolutely despises getting sick. Its not like she can bribe it to go away, and who can really have fun while they're trying to cough up a lung. She hates them so much, that she'll go into denial about even having a cold. If she's coughing badly, her nose is running, or her throat is scratchy, she'll insist that she's fine. She's fine, darn it! She will fight you every step of the way, and then when she finally gets to the point of taking medicine. She will bitch about it. It's icky.
- Jennyanydots gets a bit paranoid when she's sick. It's hard for her to admit that she's the one who needs a healer. Being a healer herself, she doesn't like the idea of being on the opposite side. She also gets concerned about spreading her germs to other jellicles while she is helping them in the infirmary. Her biggest fear, is that she will be out of commission in the infirmary, while she's sick. And that she'll miss out on a crisis and fail to help, because of it. (Just might be time for her to start training a nurse or another healer to help her out)
- Keiiji has a very pragmatic outlook on colds. They're going to happen. He's just the type to deal with it, without turning it into something that it's really not. He will rest up to improve his health-if he can. But if he's doing a job for anybody, he won't stop until he's completed it. Rain, Shine, Snow, Colds, or injuries won't stop him. Thankfully, Keiiji has a strong immune system, and rarely gets sick. The fact that he does keep to himself, keeps himself busy, and usually has his mouth and nose covered from inhaling any type of germs, helps him stay healthy.
- When Admetus is sick, then it's probably safer to isolate him. Which is hard, because Admetus does tend to revert back to his childhood when he starts getting the signs of coming down with a cold, and will get clingy. He wants a cuddle, and massage, any type of attention, and the constant need to hear affection, and encouragement. He wants someone to kiss his burning forehead, stroke his cheek, tell him everythings going to be alright, and then cuddle with him until he falls asleep. The problem with Admetus when he's sick is that his system gets all out of whack. When it is like that, he tends to secrete the flammable chemical from his paws. He has on numerous occasions accidentally burned others trying to help him during a cold, and once set a hench supply crate on fire, looking for more medicine. (He was able to blame it on something else without rousing suspicion, however)
- Having selective amnesia, Fenrir could never remember when he was sick. The first time he did get sick after his amnesia, Fenrir thought it was the end of the world. He WAS dying! Since then, he has learned to accept whenever he gets sick. Mostly, he'll just brood in a corner over whom got him sick or what he may have come into contact with that got him sick.
- Purrgatori has allergies. So every autumn, and every spring, she is susceptible to bacteria. And yearly, she gets sick at least twice, sometimes more often. Her immune system is very weak. Whenever she does get sick, she gets discouraged (by her constant colds). However, she doesn't whine about it. She is more withdrawn, and gets depressed until she gets over the worst of it. Then her spirits pick back up.

Bombalurina:
-Bomba is incredibly overbearing when sick. She'd over-do everything. Jenny tells her to take something? She'd take three for safe measure and watch the clock like a hawk to know when she needs to take her next dose. She's generally always a nice breath of fresh air, but when sick, Bomba becomes quite whiny and miserable and doesnt' like being seen in public. If a close friend dares to enter her den when she's feeling sick and underweather, they should be prepared to listen to her complain about how awful she feels, looks, and how she hates being confined. The only time this queen really 'complains' is at times like this. Bomba has a fear of being ill for too long and therefore will do anything and be paranoid to the day she feels better.
Essmerelda:
-Essa is the type to wipe her runny nose on her arm and keep going about her business. Not much puts the tall queen off. Bloody nose? Eh, it'll stop on its own. Broken arm? It'll still be broken in five minutes when I finish doing what I'm doing. I got a cold? Whatever, my immune system just sucks. Other than constant and obnoxious sniffling that she doesnt even try to conceal, Essa doesn't really react much when sick--much to the annoyance of any friends or assosiates that have to be around her leaking nose and loud coughing.

Gus...Gus will insist that the show must go ON! and then moan and whine and accept all the babying that he can get! after all at his age and health this time might well BE the end!
Cassandra...she has a very pragmatic approach she go's to her humans and looks as miserable as possible till they take her to the Vet!
Coricopat... he go's STRAIGHT to jenny! he has SEEN the Black Death, Measles, and EVERY other plague and pestilence to go through London thank you very much! those are some of the spots that he avoids well...like the plague!
Grumbuskin...he isolates himself immediately, he has seen first hand what Feline Leukemia can do to a crew.
Stubinz...he doctors him self usually trying to burn it out of his system with cayane pepper and PoitÃn!
Manfredd...the big lug typicaly has to be falling over before he notices!
then it's straight to Macavity's pet healers he go's!
Bathsheba isolates herself as she is walking a fine line as it is and fears that if she is seen as a liability she will be put out back onto the streets. and if THAT happens unless she can convince Stubinz to take her in at The Lark and Rose (as neutral ground) or the Junk Yarders (as the nearest potentially soft touch Tribe) she is pretty much dead.
Macavity...will publicly refuse to acknowledge that he is sick and privately go to his pet Healers. he see's this as sensible as He feels that showing weakness is DANGEROUS.

- Tantomile knows a surprising amount of trivia. She learned to read and write through her powers, and spends a lot of time at a bookstore in the city, studying books that have been left open.

every time that Coricopat walks over the place where their Mother died he see's her death, he usually go's once a year on the day for remembrance. he has not told Tantomile about this.

Stubinz: where he firmly believes in the Fair Folk and other things Unseen he is busy putting out the offering that will encourage the benevolent to hang about and the malevolent to move along.
Coricopat: a time for meditation, reflection, and watchfulness.
Grumbuskin this is the night to party! rum and ale till you float!
Cassandra: the sleek brown queen is supervising the distribution of candy to the Trick or Treater's from a velvet cushion next to the door.
Bathsheba: this is her BEST night for business! she loves hitting the parties!
Manfredd: the big lug just loves to watch the humans and their costume parties!
Macavity:if Mac had his way THIS would be the night for the Ball actually he might
even arrange for a Cotillion for the hierarchy of the Henches!

I really liked Cassandra, for some reason. ^_^ - Gilbert has never seen holidays as anything special. Due to his past, and isolation, special events are just another day to him. However, having just made his first friend, he'd most likely being dropping by Demeter's den with a stuffed animal toy, and a shy smile.
- Sadly, Jennyanydots gets stuck in the infirmary during Halloween. So many of the younger kittens wind up in her Healer's den, with upset stomachs.
- Rumpleteazer is out trick or treating with the kids, and innocently stealing candy from them in the meantime. Going up to each door, it's easier for her (and her twin) to gain access and steal other trinkets from humans homes.
- Jemima is most likely spending her night meditating with Coricopat. More like sulking about not being allowed to run amok during the night.
- Admetus is dressed up in an excellent disguise, drinking at a halloween party, and most likely landing in bed with someone after the party begins to wind down.
- Keiiji is often out doing one of his side jobs. All the bustle of Halloween, gives him ample cover to go by unnoticed and do things without worrying about unforeseen variables. (His coverings also make him look like another trick or treater and isn't paid much attention to)
- Fenrir absolutely hates Halloween. He can't even begin to list the reasons why he hates it, but you will not be seeing him at all during this holiday.
- Purrgatori is the type that is ALWAYS planning to have the best costume, will make some preparations, and will chat about where she'll go and the parties she'll hit up. But every year, without fail, all her plans are abandoned, and she veges out in her den just hanging out.

Well, lets see, so much info, I shall give what I can for Elsa regarding all topics so far listed. - Elsa is naturally shy and closed. naturally so due to events in her life that she'd rather not explain about
- Elsa is not bothered by the cold tempertures, and so cannot get ill from cold tempertures, nor does she suffer the ill effects of hypothermia or frostbite
- Elsas favorite color is Lavender, same color as her own fur
- Elsa can also read humans words in English, Norse, Japanese and Korean, along with Spanish {Mexican, Latin American, and Spain}
- Elsa can also speak in the following langauges, English, Norse, Japanese, Spanish{Spain} and Latin
- Elsas least favorite holiday is 4th July due to the fireworks and rockets in the holiday
- Elsas most favorite holiday is New Years Day/Night The first night of the new year is always something new for her to desicover
- Elsa hates dogs of all breeds due to her paranoia and natural fears of such animals
- She loves playing in the snow, if she created it or not, she just loves playing in it
- Elsa loves the cold weather, not only because it never bothered her ot begin with, but its also so very beautiful
- Elsa likes to try and act and dress as a human, mostly in dresses of bright blue or silvery grenish-blue
- Elsa is proud to not be fixed by the vet, but sadly even then she cannot have kittens of her own due to the rare 'birth defect' of being born barren. Not that she really cares about that fact. she does not feel as if she is a motherly type.

Do they look forward to going to the Heaviside Layer? He created us, after all. Didn't he? And He watches over us all our lives. Even the bad... um... even the bad times. Right? Um... Heaviside Layer is- I mean, obviously I don't know what it is, I've never been there. But it's an honor, that's what Munkustrap says. I definitely believe that. Um. Yes. I do believe in Him... And I do hope to speak with Him in Heaviside one day. Far into the future, obviously..."

I really enjoy my life now, of course, and I don't wanna be leaving anytime soon. But at the end of the day, our lives and the paths we take are determined by the Everlasting Cat, and... well, we gotta put all our faith in Him to lead us the right way."
